New look and feel to boost talent acquisition

Responsive UI Design for ArdentMC

Overview

Ardent is a premier technology firm serving the public sector, with contracts supporting every branch of government from USSS, DHS, CBP, etc. In recent years, Ardent has graduated from the small business classification, revamped their branding, and launched an updated site.

Since 2020 I have been working on consolidating and organizing all new branding assets and updating all the marketing collateral to comply with the new brand guidelines. Part of this task involved updating the Careers page and helping the Assistant VP of Operations come up with with a new design and content to attract talent to the company.

Existing issues

Talent acquisition was not meeting quantity needs, several positions were left open for an extended period of time and needed to be filled quickly as a requirement for certain contracts.

Discussions with the Assistant VP of Operations, focus groups, and competitive analysis lead us to believe that it was critical that we effectively message and communicate the benefits of working for Ardent to get prospects excited about starting a career here.

Solution

The new Careers page was designed to align with Ardent's recent rebranding and showcase the benefits of working for Ardent in a visually appealing way. Benefits were separated into 3 categories specific to the target users the company is looking for. Once the design was approved, I worked with IT to get access to the company's dev environment to create the page, make it responsive, and then submit the change requests. The IT team then approved the change requests and pushed the site live.
